4-in-1 Hair Restoration
Four actives in one topical formulation, minoxidil, finasteride, latanoprost and ketoconazole, attacking hair loss on four mechanisms at once.
This is a compounded preparation made by a licensed pharmacy. It is not FDA-approved, and it is prescribed only when a licensed provider determines it is appropriate for you.
Already know this is what you want? The second option books the appointment straight away. Not sure yet? See the labs first.
Your consult is free. We will not prescribe this, or anything, before a clinician has spoken with you. Final cost depends on the form and dose prescribed.

Mechanism
Four mechanisms, one bottle.
Minoxidil widens blood vessels around the follicle and extends the growth phase. Finasteride blocks the DHT that miniaturises genetically susceptible follicles.
Latanoprost extends the anagen growth phase through a separate prostaglandin pathway, and ketoconazole reduces scalp inflammation and has mild anti-androgen activity of its own.
Applying all four topically means substantially lower systemic exposure than oral tablets, the main concern that keeps men off oral finasteride.

Protocol
How treatment usually runs.
A typical schedule. Yours is set by your clinician, and adjusted as you go.
| Phase | Weeks | Typical | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | 1–4 | Applied to dry scalp daily | Consistency matters more than volume. |
| Shedding phase | 2–8 | Continue daily | Temporary shedding is expected, do not stop. |
| Assessment | Month 4–6 | Photographic comparison | Too gradual to judge from memory. |
| Maintenance | 6+ | Continued indefinitely | Benefit reverses on stopping. |
What to expect
Honestly, over time.
Shedding phase
Old resting hairs push out as follicles re-enter growth. The point most people quit. Don't.
Stabilisation
Shedding settles and loss slows or stops.
Visible regrowth
Where regrowth occurs, this is the window, usually crown first.
Continuous use
Stopping reverses gains within months.
Evidence
What the research shows.
Topical minoxidil and finasteride are each well established for pattern hair loss; combining them generally outperforms either alone because they act on different mechanisms.
Latanoprost and ketoconazole add third and fourth pathways with supporting evidence. The specific four-agent combination is prescribed off-label.
Results vary. Clinical trial results apply only to the FDA-approved branded medication specifically identified and do not apply to compounded medications. All medications must be prescribed by a licensed provider based on medical necessity.
Safety and eligibility
Your consult and labs screen for all of the following.
- Pregnancy warning, formulations containing finasteride must not be handled by women who are or may become pregnant.
- Common side effects include scalp irritation, dryness and flaking.
- Unwanted facial hair can occur if the product migrates, wash hands after applying.
- Not FDA-approved for this use, prescribed at your provider's discretion.
FAQ
4-in-1 Hair Restoration questions.
Minoxidil, finasteride, latanoprost and ketoconazole in one topical solution. Each works on a different mechanism, blood flow, DHT blockade, growth-phase extension and scalp inflammation.
Topical application produces substantially lower systemic exposure than oral tablets, which is why it is preferred by men concerned about the sexual side effects reported with oral finasteride. Some absorption still occurs.
A temporary increase in shedding in the first two to eight weeks is expected, follicles are being pushed out of their resting phase into a new growth cycle. It is the most common reason people quit too early.
Judge at four to six months of consistent daily use, with a baseline photo. Shedding settles around month three; visible regrowth, where it occurs, typically appears between months four and six.
