Sermorelin
A growth-hormone secretagogue that prompts your pituitary to produce more of its own GH, aimed at sleep, recovery and body composition.
This is a compounded preparation made by a licensed pharmacy. It is not FDA-approved, and it is prescribed only when a licensed provider determines it is appropriate for you.
Already know this is what you want? The second option books the appointment straight away. Not sure yet? See the labs first.
Your consult is free. We will not prescribe this, or anything, before a clinician has spoken with you. Final cost depends on the form and dose prescribed.

Mechanism
Stimulate, don't replace.
Sermorelin is an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone. It signals the pituitary to release more of your own growth hormone rather than introducing synthetic HGH.
Because release stays pulsatile and under your body's own feedback control, the physiologic risk profile is more favourable than direct HGH administration.
It is dosed at night to align with your natural GH pulse during deep sleep. Sleep quality is usually the first thing patients report.

Protocol
How treatment usually runs.
A typical schedule. Yours is set by your clinician, and adjusted as you go.
| Phase | Weeks | Typical | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | 1–4 | Low dose nightly before bed | On an empty stomach. |
| Build | 5–12 | Adjusted per response | Cycling schedules vary by provider. |
| Maintenance | 13+ | Often cycled | 5 days on, 2 off is common. |
What to expect
Honestly, over time.
Sleep
Deeper sleep is usually the earliest reported change.
Recovery
Reduced soreness and faster recovery between sessions.
Body composition
Changes require training and adequate protein.
Reassess
Cycling and continuation reviewed with your provider.
Evidence
What the research shows.
Sermorelin raises endogenous growth hormone and IGF-1 in patients with reduced GH output.
Evidence for body-composition and anti-ageing benefits in otherwise healthy adults is limited. Reported benefits are largely subjective.
Results vary. Clinical trial results apply only to the FDA-approved branded medication specifically identified and do not apply to compounded medications. All medications must be prescribed by a licensed provider based on medical necessity.
Safety and eligibility
Your consult and labs screen for all of the following.
- Do not use with active malignancy.
- Tell your provider about diabetes, thyroid disease or a history of pituitary disorder.
- Common side effects include injection-site reaction, flushing, headache and vivid dreams.
- Not FDA-approved for this use, prescribed at your provider's discretion.
FAQ
Sermorelin questions.
No. HGH is synthetic growth hormone introduced directly. Sermorelin signals your pituitary to release more of your own, which keeps release pulsatile and under normal feedback control, a more favourable risk profile.
Your largest natural growth hormone pulse occurs during deep sleep. Dosing before bed on an empty stomach aligns the medication with that rhythm rather than working against it.
Improved sleep quality is often noticed within one to two weeks. Recovery changes typically follow by week four to eight. Body-composition change takes three to six months and requires training and adequate protein.
