Mechanism
Targeting androgen-driven thinning.
Spironolactone is an anti-androgen, it blocks androgen receptors and reduces androgen production, and is used off-label for hormone-related or pattern thinning in premenopausal women, particularly where labs or history suggest an androgen component.
Oral minoxidil widens blood vessels around the follicle and extends the hair cycle's growth phase, and biotin supports keratin production.
This formulation is specific to women under 45; women experiencing thinning after menopause are typically better suited to Ivy Hair Tablet, your clinician will confirm which fits your history.
